As I get older, it seems like more and more movie stars pass away.  I assume my perception is skewed because I’m simply more aware of the people that are passing away because of the personal memories that I have  of their performances.

I remember like it was yesterday watching Easy Rider with my high school friends and thinking that  Hopper and Fonda were so cool.  Just the mention of the name Dennis Hopper brings back so many memories.  I will miss him.

I get frustrated when someone dies from a disease like prostate cancer because I … Continue reading

My research into the benefits of ionized water in regards to helping cancer patients lead me to start blogging about  water.   I don’t know how people find this blog, but they do.  As a result, I continue to hear from more and more people with cancer.  While cancer may have not reached epidemic levels yet, the number of people diagnosed or living with cancer is alarming.  This is an inspiring story about a man who had been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer and used ionized water to beat the disease and improve his overall health. This story was referred to me… Continue reading

During his State of the Union address in January 1971, Richard Nixon declared war on cancer. Here is what he said:

“The time has come in America when the same kind of concentrated effort that split the atom and took man to the moon should be turned toward conquering this dreaded disease. Let us make a total national commitment to achieve this goal.”

President Nixon followed through on his promise and signed the National Cancer Act on December 23, 1971. What started out as a noble cause has obviously lost its focus over the years.

In 1971… Continue reading

I wish I had more time to dedicate to this blog, because it continues to be a never-ending source of amazement for me. Just when you think the world has gone crazy and nobody cares, along comes another example of human kindness.

I had a call a couple of weeks ago from a woman that desperately wanted a water ionizer to help combat her husband’s lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer that starts in the lymphocytes of the immune system. Lymphoma is categorized as either Hodgkin’s lymphoma, or non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). The outlook for cancer patients who have lymphoma can… Continue reading

It strikes me as ironic that the great stories that I have the privilege to write about come at the expense of others who have suffered through various forms of illness. While this blog is dedicated to educating others about the incredible benefits of drinking water, it is the stories of those who have faced and overcome difficult or even life threatening diseases that provide the real hope to others.

Not everyone wants to share their stories for privacy reasons, which is perfectly understandable. Those that do share their stories have my deepest respect and gratitude, because they can… Continue reading

I hear a lot of personal stories about how alkaline ionized water helps people in many ways. I also hear a lot of stories about how alkaline ionized water changes lives (I have one myself). But every once in awhile I receive a call that provides incredible inspiration, and it is my privilege to share this one with you.

I have a great deal of respect for the medical profession, because my father was a wonderful physician. However, I have come to learn over the years that western medicine doesn’t begin to have all the answers. In fact, I… Continue reading

About this blog

My name is Rob Thomas. I’m 53 years old, retired, and I live in a small town near Toronto, Canada

I created this blog to share my knowledge and experience with alkaline ionized water. The water changed my life by eliminating my acid reflux and osteo-arthritis in 2008.

This blog morphed into something far greater than it was ever intended, as others began to share their experiences... learn more about me
