Hi Rob,
Our family recently found out about ionized water from a customer of mine who happen to own the pricey $4K machine. My mother in law died of lung cancer in 2004 and my father in law was diagnosed with leukimia in 2005. As you can imagine, I was excited about something new that could possibly benefit my father in law. We have 2 young children now and we obviously want our family around as long as possible. We bottled up the ionized water for about 6 weeks before deciding to invest in a unit for ourselves. I completly agree with you that it is not the “brand” it is the water. After countless hours of research, we ended up purchasing a more afforadable machine with a better warranty and couldn’t be happier thus far. To me, the water is water and everything else is secondary…
So, we have owned our machine for about 2 weeks now and drinking it straight from the tap is different than getting it bottled. From what I have read, that is because the antioxidation only lasts for about 24 hours. My husband and I are both healthy, active people, but we have noticed a tremendous increase in our energy level and an overall sense of feeling better. My husband is a small business owner and has been under significant stress with the economy this past year and had been sick for about 6 months straight. While he is still stressed, he is no longer sick and has more energy to be with the family away from work.
My father in law weighed 120 pounds last Feb when he was hospitalized for 2 months with his Leukimia. He has only gained 10 pounds since being released. After 4 weeks of drinking ionized water, he has gained 8 pounds and his last blood test levels were either the same or better. He returns in early April and we are excited to see if things are still improving. His main comment is that he has an appetite again and is feeling somewhat better. I think he is still a little skeptical?? He did get sick the first week drinking the water and we believe that is because he was so toxic. His only other complaint is that he has to use the restroom constantly when drinking it, so somedays he doesn’t have much if he is going to be out- Anyway, I am happy to find this independant site that doesn’t seem to be bashing the competition. We are considering becoming distributors for the machine we purchased because we feel we can really help change people’s lives. It feels good to really believe in something and to see it work. We have a friend with Diabetes who just started borrowing water from us too, so I am anxious to see his results. Will keep you posted and good luck!

Just for your information. Enagic is the only company that can produce water that is stable in it’s effectiveness for up to 3 days. No other machine on the market is strong enough to do this.
$3980.00 for a machine that has so many benefits is not a lot in my book. Think about how much you pay for health insurance.

Your first message about how the water has improved your life and the lives of others is inspirational.

I’m not so thrilled with your latest effort. I have decided that I’m not going to block the promotional attempts of people excited about the water. However, when claims are made that can’t be supported by facts, I will draw attention to the false claims. If you are going to make statements about a product, you are going to have to prove it. How do you know that Enagic is the only company that can produce water that is stable in its effectiveness for three days? Can you prove that the Enagic machines do this and the other machines are unable to do so? Have you tested the other machines? What is so magical about Enagic machines that you claim gives them this performance advantage over other machines? Have you ever taken an Enagic or the other machines apart to see how they are made? The Enagic SD501 works, but it has very old technology that has been surpassed by every leading machine in the industry. Several of the other companies now produce machines with 7 large plates and equal or greater power. Based upon my testing and research, I believe that Enagic no longer has any advantages whatsoever.

I have an Enagic SD501 in my lab, along with about ten other brands. I have tested all the machines many times and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the Enagic is not superior. In fact, the results from several other machines are superior to the Enagic and they don’t use bleach (sodium hypochlorite) to achieve their best results. A couple of machines that I have tested that produce superior results sell for less than half the price of the Enagic SD501.

I encourage you to continue your education about water ionizers and to share your enthusiasm for the water with others. Enagic is almost solely responsible for spreading the good word about water ionizers in North America, and for that, they should be proud. I’m happy to help in any way I can, but I won’t support claims that can’t be substantiated, or products that are grossly overpriced because of the marketing system.

Hi Rob. We bought a machine from you April 17 2009 and we both are very happy with it. I must admit I thought this was just another scam, but I found out different when we started drinking the water. It sure changed my out look. We both feel so much better and have more energy. Every where we go our alkaline goes with us. I have arthritis throughout my body and it has helped so much even helps with my gas. We hope you are enjoying your retirement. Dave and Marg McCallum

Thank you so much for sending in your comments. It is comments like yours that make all this effort worthwhile.

The funny thing about my retirement is that it isn’t really a retirement at all. I’m as busy as I ever was, I just don’t get paid for it now!

Instead of selling water ionizers one at a time to Canadians, I’m currently helping people start up water ionizer businesses in New Zealand, Belgium, Russia, Australia, the USA, and Canada. Each one of these people will hopefully introduce and educate hundreds or even thousands of people in their countries to the water. Gotta love the internet.
