If you are reading this article, you or someone you love has probably been diagnosed or suspected to have cancer in the past few days.
If you are anything like my wife and I when I was diagnosed with cancer, you are likely feeling somewhat disoriented (nothing can prepare you for cancer news) but are determined to learn and “get out in front of it”. We all know that cancer is no longer an automatic death sentence unless it is very advanced.
You have probably been given encouragement and a schedule of “what’s next” by your doctor. Unless you have “connections” in the medical community to speed things along, it will feel like time is standing still.
Timing:
The time to start combatting cancer is when you are a child. If our education system taught kids how to eat and drink properly and how to live a healthy lifestyle, cancer rates would plummet. That information doesn’t help you today, but the message of starting early is important.
A cancer diagnosis is usually discovered a couple of years after the cancer started. Most types of cancer spread over a long period of time which means there is usually time to develop and implement a cancer treatment strategy. Perhaps that is why the doctors never seem to be in a big hurry, but I think the reality is that it takes time to schedule everything.
I believe that the best time to attack cancer is NOW. The sooner you get started the better your chances of beating cancer. The early detection capability of the medical world is almost entirely responsible for improved survival rates.
Medical versus alternative treatments
Many “alternative medicine” supporters preach that you should avoid any form of “western” medical treatments. Their claims that the barbaric practices of “slashing, burning, and poisoning…aka….surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy” are useless are simply not based upon the facts. I believe that so much more could be done to reduce cancer and improve the treatment protocols if money didn’t play such a huge role in the treatment of cancer. At the same time, I have witnessed a number of friends and associates who have benefitted from either radiation and/or chemotherapy.
Through my work with alkaline water over the years, I have witnessed some pretty incredible recoveries due to patients drinking the water when their medical doctors said there was no more hope. The only person that can give up hope is the patient. However, drinking the water without changing to an alkaline diet and cutting out unhealthy foods is only going part way and not something I would risk my life on.
I think there is room for taking both a medical and alternative approach to combatting cancer.
What you can do while you are waiting for tests and appointments
Change your diet to include alkaline foods and water. Basically, eat fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, and drink alkaline water.
I think it is important to stay as positive as possible through exercise and doing activities that make you happy. I don’t think for one second that the medical world has even scratched the surface of treating cancer. I also believe that your body can heal itself if you give it the proper fuel and maintenance.
Do water ionizers actually help?
I have been part of too many “miracle” recoveries due to patients drinking the water to ignore the benefits.
Despite what you may read on the Mayo Clinic website or other “scam or gimmick” style websites, alkaline ionized water does help. While the naysayers correctly point out that pure water can’t be ionized but they don’t tell you that water with alkali metals (magnesium, calcium, potassium, and sodium) can be ionized. The naysayers also point out that the pseudoscience used by many water ionizer companies doesn’t stand up to scientific studies which is true.
Since the discovery in 2006 that the molecular hydrogen produced by water ionizers acts as a powerful and selective antioxidant, there have been more than 300 studies showing that the water is beneficial to more than 80 human diseases including cancer. Please check out Tyler LeBaron’s incredibly informative website on the subject at www.molecularhydrogeninstitute.com The naysayers are simply not up to speed on the subject.
Is it worth the money to buy a water ionizer to combat cancer?
My immediate response would be: “what is your life worth?”, but that is where it gets messy.
Over the years, I have found that it is usually a friend or loved one who is the driver behind the decision to purchase an electric water ionizer that costs thousands of dollars. Often times, the patient is more resigned to what they believe is inevitable and they don’t want to spend the money. If water ionizers were affordable, I believe every cancer patient would buy a machine
With the advent of natural water ionzers, the decision whether to purchase a water ionizer or not becomes a lot more simple. While leading brand electric water ionizers typically cost between $2,000 and $4,000, the early editions of natural water ionizers cost about $400. Today, the alkaline water pitchers cost about $59.
When faced with potential life saving decision on whether to buy a $59 product or a $4,000 product, it would seem logical to choose the more expensive product if you can afford it. While I support anyone’s decision to purchase a water ionizer for any reason, I would disagree that spending more money is the right thing to do. I base my opinion on the fact that I had a $59 pitcher tested for its ability to produce molecular hydrogen and it outperformed the electric water ionizers when the filters were new and performed as well as most of the electric water ionizers throughout the life of the filter. Please note that different brands will produce different amounts of molecular hydrogen and the amount of molecular hydrogen produced over the life of a filter will vary.
If I had cancer, I would change the filter more often than the suggested 3 month lifespan to make sure I was getting the maximum benefit from the filter.
If you decide to purchase any type of water ionizer to combat cancer or simply to improve your health, try to drink the water as soon as it is made. When the hydrogen atoms in the water bond together to form molecular hydrogen, they form gas bubbles that will eventually rise to the surface of the water (because gas is lighter than air) and dissipate into the air.
