Everything you wanted to know (and not know) about water.
Fibromyalgia is a pain…..literally. It has been described to me by sufferers as “arthritis on steroids”. The disease is not a killer, but it certainly makes life miserable for the six million people suffering from the disease in America.
Susan C. Eiguren, NC, provides a simple and good description of fibromyalgia and why it seems to “move around and cause pain everywhere” as follows:
” “Fibro” means connective tissue and “myalgia” means muscle pain. So fibromyalgia is a painful condition affecting the connective tissues of our muscles. If you… Continue reading

Coffee is the most common drug in America. Fifty four percent of adult Americans drink coffee to the tune of 146 billion cups per year.
There is an interesting article on CNN tonight that brings to light some of the benefits of drinking coffee. You can read the article written by Sarah Klein at: http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/04/28/coffee.studies/index.html?hpt=C2
Coffee has had a bad reputation in health circles for a long time. It is common knowledge that caffeine remains in your system for up to 12 hours, and can lead… Continue reading

Weight loss….the multi-billion dollar industry, and the subject on the minds of so many of us!
When did the overweight condition get to be so rampant in our society? I remember as a child, that there were virtually no “fat” kids in school. Today, obesity is everywhere in Canada and the USA. In fact, childhood obesity has quadrupled in the last 20 years.
Television advertisements are telling us that there are 3 million Canadians with Type II diabetes, which means about 1 out of every 11… Continue reading
There is a tremendous amount of information about water ionizers on the internet. Most of what you read is marketing hype, and virtually all of the “good stuff” is borrowed from others. There is very little original material, and there are only a handful of people that I have found that actually have something useful to contribute.
The health industry focuses on the importance of the benefits of being alkaline (pH over 7.0) because disease can’t exist in an alkaline environment.
pH is the measure of the acidity… Continue reading
Slowly but surely, people are discovering the benefits of drinking alkaline ionized water. Most of us take our health for granted until something goes wrong, so most inquiries about the water come from people who are trying to “fix” something. I suspect it will remain that way for years to come, but my hope is that eventually people will learn to take care of their health before they have problems. Proper maintenance is always a superior solution to repair.
If you are investigating water ionizers on the internet… Continue reading

17 Apr 2010My research into the benefits of ionized water in regards to helping cancer patients lead me to start blogging about water. I don’t know how people find this blog, but they do. As a result, I continue to hear from more and more people with cancer. While cancer may have not reached epidemic levels yet, the number of people diagnosed or living with cancer is alarming. This is an inspiring story about a man who had been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer and used ionized water to beat the disease and improve his overall health. This story was referred to me… Continue reading
I can’t stand the way the water i0nizer review websites claim to be independent when they are not independent at all. I like the fact that they create awareness with their expensive advertising campaigns, but the fact they don’t disclose their financial interest is deceiving. The review sites are financed 100% by companies and are carefully constructed to lead the reader to choose a specific product.
Today, I’m reviewing the site http://www.waterionizerreviews.org/. The site is a completely biased promotional site for a specific brand of water ionizers. It is easy to pick your way through… Continue reading
