I have been taking pain killers for the arthritic pain in my shoulder for five years. I wanted to get off the pain killers, and my physician recommended surgery. That is when I started drinking alkaline water. The pain started to subside in about four weeks. Four months later, the pain is gone unless I overwork my shoulder.
