The simple truth is that ionized or ”Kangen” water can help your body heal itself of many ailments that people face on a day to day basis. Your body is capable of working brilliantly, but it needs the right fuel mixture, just like any other machine. Abuse the machine, and the performance deteriorates rapidly and often permanently. Take care of the machine, and it will work tirelessly for a lifetime. The great news is that all water ionizers are effective in regards to helping your body heal itself.

How can something so good be known by so few?

The level of awareness of water ionizers in many countries in Asia is virtually 100%. How can it be that more than 99% of people in the United States and Canada have never heard of these simple but effective machines despite the fact they have been available here for 8 years?

The simple answer is that nobody is telling the story. Let me refine that statement… nobody except the dedicated Enagic dealers have been telling the story. The water ionizer industry in North America owes its entire existence to the efforts made by Enagic dealers.

Enagic dealers are just regular people who have discovered that drinking ionized water changed their lives. When the owners of Enagic water ionizers start seeing positive results, they share the information with others. This process has been going on, one person at a time since 2004. The dealers of the Enagic MLM system have sold tens of thousands of machines, which is a huge accomplishment. However, the number still represents less than one Enagic unit for every five thousand homes in the USA and Canada. As you can see, Enagic has only scratched the surface when it comes to awareness of water ionizers. Enagic representatives have done a fantastic job with effective demonstrations and providing education about ionized water during their meetings with prospective clients, but the work has only begun.

While the Enagic system has been successful, it has the same fatal flaw that eventually ruins most MLM systems. The flaw is the high price that is charged for the units. At a price of $3,980, the units are just too expensive for the average person to pay for drinking water. The price issue is accentuated by the fact that competitive products offered by more traditional distribution systems offer excellent products at much lower prices.

When I was in the water ionizer business, virtually all of my sales were made to people who had been introduced to ionized “kangen water” by an Enagic dealer. Everyone that contacted me wanted to purchase an Enagic SD501, but the high price turned them off. As competitors, we would direct potential customers who had been educated by Enagic dealers to the “independent” review sites that offered machines producing similar results for half the cost. Enagic dealers would typically respond to the price difference by bashing our products as being inferior. We would refer to the 8 levels of sales commission paid out for Enagic machines under the MLM system, and presto, the sale was made.

I suspect that if the price of the Enagic SD501 was under $2,000, the dealers would sell five to ten times as many machines because of the great work done by the Enagic dealers. Instead, sales are lost to other companies, or the sales are lost because people want the Enagic Sd501 or nothing at all, or sales are lost because people get turned off by the entire process. Since my goal is to get people drinking ionized water, regardless of the brand, I find it disturbing that so many more people could be drinking the water.

As time progresses and awareness of the payout structure of Enagic increases, Enagic’s well deserved role as the industry leader will continue to erode. Additional pressures are building for Enagic dealers who are now faced with updated models offered by Sanastec via the traditional means of distribution. Now, Vollara has popped up presenting itself as an MLM alternative to Enagic with an untried product that sells for half the cost of the SD501. The same pattern happens over and over again to MLM organizations, and the dealers often move on to other MLM products as they see the writing on the wall. I believe it would be a shame for Enagic dealers to move on to other MLM endeavors, because it is the water ionizers themselves that are important, not the MLM system.

I have had a number of high ranking Enagic 5A and 6A dealers contact me recently expressing great concern about the future of Enagic. The Enagic dealers had always been under the impression that the Enagic machines were superior to all other products. This impression allowed the dealers to sell their units at $3,980 with a clear conscience. They correctly believed that nothing is more important than your health, so it was logical for people to pay more for the “best” product. Enagic dealers believed for years that they were providing a valuable public service to people by telling them that the competitive products were inferior. As the reality that other machines are as good or even better than Enagic struck home, many Enagic leading dealers have been devastated. It is easy to understand their frustration, because they are good people who are passionate about helping others.

My concern is that many of the great Enagic dealers are going to become discouraged and stop educating others about ionized water. I believe that it is imperative that we keep these incredibly valuable people working with water. If you are an Enagic dealer who is feeling angry, or if you just feel like giving up, don’t quit! The game is still in its infancy and we need people like you to continue the education process.

If you are still experiencing success with Enagic, keep doing what you are doing. However, you might want to consider investigating other brands that are less expensive. I can assure you that they are effective. If you have customers that can’t afford the SD501, put yourself in a position to offer other great products at lower prices. You know from your own experience that the water works.

If this article applies to you, but you don’t know where to start, contact me. I will be happy to take time to answer your questions. I will provide facts and tell you the truth, without a sales pitch. There are lots of good machines on the market to choose from. I believe the key to success is to find people with strong business ethics who will support your efforts. It will be very difficult to find anyone with a support system as strong as Enagic, but there are good people out there. My goal is to increase the awareness of the water and I believe that Enagic dealers are the “best of the best” when it comes to educating others about water. Since I can use all the help I can get, I’m at your service.

I’m just a regular guy, but I also have dreams. In fact, I have a number of dreams over my lifetime. First, I dreamed that someday I would be old enough to drive a car. As I moved out on my own, I dreamed about obtaining material possessions. Then I dreamed of finding a great woman to share my life with and raise a family. I have had my ups and downs and disappointments like everyone else, but as I look back on my life, I feel very fortunate that my dreams have come true.

As I reached my fifties, I wondered if there would be anymore dreams. The kids had grown up and were starting to take control of their own lives. Business was good, but the game no longer had the same magical hold on me that it once did. The so-called ”golden years” felt more like the “rust years” to my arthritic body.

Just when it seemed like the balance of my life might be spent sitting back and watching from the sidelines, my wife came to the rescue once again. She showed up one day with a jug of water and announced that she had “found the answer.” When I asked her “to what?”, she replied to “good health.” I didn’t believe a word of what she was saying, but I agreed to drink the water because…well….sometimes it is just easier to go along. Besides, how bad could water be?

After drinking the alkaline ionized water for one week, the acid reflux (heartburn) problem that have bothered me for more than ten years disappeared. Within a month, the crippling arthritis which was turning me into a grumpy old man also disappeared. My lifetime allergy to ragweed vanished. I lost a few pounds and had more energy. Suddenly life seemed to have a new purpose again.

So, what is my latest dream?

I dream of a world where everyone has access to ionized water.

If everyone drank ionized water, there would be an outbreak of good health that has never been witnessed before. People would feel better. They would have more energy. Many of their physical problems would begin to diminish, or be eliminated altogether as their bodies become more alkaline. It is impossible for disease to live in an alkaline body, so we would start to see the decline and perhaps the elimination of degenerative diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, and cancer.

Does this dream seem too good to be true?

To some, my dream may seem like a pipe dream, but not to me. I have experienced the life changing benefits of the water. I have spoken to hundreds of people that have been helped by the water. To be fair, I have also spoken to a small number of people that don’t think they have experienced any improvement from the water, but they typically have not given the water a proper chance for the benefits to show. The water won’t fix all things, but it is helping so many people that it can’t be discounted as wishful thinking or due to a placebo effecdt.

If the water is so good, why don’t more people know about it?

There are many reasons, but one of the main culprits is the medical/pharmaceutical industry itself, which doesn’t want cures for diseases. Nobody makes any money if people actually get better. The maintenance of disease is big business, and anyone that tries to mess with the formula will have their path blocked at every turn.

Challenges to the steadfast rules and practices of the medical community are increasing like never before. The internet has allowed people like you and I to discuss things like ionized water, which is an incredible turn of events. In the past, the entire world of health was essentially the sole domain of physicians. Now we can challenge our physicians, or support alternative modalities and their practitioners. We need to encourage the incredible talents of our medical community to reach beyond the current restrictions that hold them back from being more effective practitioners.

The historical disdain for any type of naturopathic cures or treatment in North American is well documented. However, the movement to find healthy alternatives to allopathic/conventional western medicine is gaining more and more acceptance as time passes. In the province of Ontario where I live, the government has given Naturopathic Doctors the ability to prescribe medications for the first time. It will take a couple of years before the provincial formulary to determine exactly what prescriptions of drugs will be acceptable for insurance purposes, but the ball is definitely moving in the right direction.

The high cost of water ionizers presents another significant factor in holding back the widespread use of the machines. In order for most people to be able to afford a water ionizer, the prices need to come down. The prices can come down and they will come down.

When I first got started last year with my personal crusade to drive the prices of water ionizers lower, I assumed it would take a couple of years to get prices headed lower and perhaps as much as five years to actually see the machines available at prices that families would consider affordable. Things are progressing much faster than I expected. There are already great machines available now for well under $2,000 that can to anything that the $4,000 and the $2,500 machine can do (don’t believe the advertising). If fact, my testing shows that some of the less expensive machines are actually superior to the expensive machines. It is just a matter of time until the competitors start driving the prices lower and lower, which is what happens when an industry matures.

Finally, educating the public about something so new and foreign to conventional thinking will take time. Money could speed up the education process, but the companies in the health care industry don’t particularly like the idea that water, which is free, could eliminate the need for so many of their products. The soda pop industry also has the funding to provide widespread marketing to create awareness, but then people would stop buying Coke.

How can we make this dream come true?

We need people like you to keep an open mind and try the water. If the water works for you, share the news with others. Everyone can make a difference… even you….especially you! If you don’t feel confident enough to talk to others about the subject of water ionizers, just , refer people to this blog. I will answer all pertinent questions that are asked. If I don’t know the answer to a question, I will do my best to research the subject and post my findings. Your questions and comments help me to learn. Thanks for joining me in helping me make my dream come true.

My Story: My wife introduced me to alkaline ionized water two years ago after attending a MLM meeting, and the rest is history: full recovery from long term acid reflux problems and crippling arthritis, complete elimination of ragweed allergy symptoms, and zero colds for two years for any of the five members of our family who live in our home.

I retired last year as President of one of the leading suppliers of water ionizers so that I could start this blog to help spread the word about the benefits of ionized water. I also wanted to provide an unbiased source of information about the water ionizer industry and its products. It turns out that honest information goes a long way.

Benefits of the water: There are too many to mention and you can read about them all over the internet. The important thing to understand is that drinking ionized water can play a significant role in helping your body become alkaline. Your body is meant to be alkaline, as you were born that way. The highly acidic diets of most Americans and Canadians cause our bodies to be acidic, which leads to degenerative diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, and cancer. The ”miracle water” or “kangen water” is not a miracle at all. Your body is the miracle, and drinking the water simply allows your “miracle body” to perform properly as acid is slowly eliminated from your system.

Why I started this blog: After drinking the water for a few weeks, I was stunned by the remarkable benefits. I was also shocked that so few people were aware of the water because the results were life changing for me. It didn’t make any sense to me that such an incredible product was hidden in almost total obscurity. I quickly learned that the pharma industry quietly works behind the scenes casting doubt on water ionizers and other non-regulated health products . The pharmas also carry tremendous influence with the health regulatory bodies in both Canada and the States, so it is no wonder that the medical “influencers” have not helped spread the word.

Adding to the frustration was the short sighted behavior of the players in the water ionizer industry itself. Instead of building awareness and educating the public, they were too busy filling their pockets and stabbing each other in the back with their archaic marketing techniques.

The “independent” review sites, which are not independent at all, only serve to confuse the public. Claims by virtually every company that “our product are the best and the other companies don’t match up” leaves the consumer wondering if any of the products are any good. Given the high cost of the machines, and the uncertainty created by both the pharmaceutical industry and the water ionizer industry itself, it is no wonder that sales have languished when they should be going through the roof. Unfortunately, the water ionizer companies seem to have adopted a philosophy that ”you only need to fool some of the people some of the time” because of the high profit margins.

The benefits of the water are too important to leave the education process in the hands of the water ionizer companies who seem to only be interested in profits. No wonder less than 1% of people in Canada and the United States have even heard of ionized water despite the fact water ionizers have been available here for 8 years. My goal is to make sure the other 99% of the population learns about the water, and I hope you help me with my cause.

The Good News: With every article I post on this blog, more and more people are taking notice. I don’t have any delusions that people are following this blog because of my “captivating” writing style, or the “scintillating” content. They are looking for honest and unbiased answers to help clear up the confusion created by the industry itself. It appears that the people who are visiting this site are sharing it with others, which brings a big smile to my face.

More Good News: As the blog grows, so do the comments and inquiries. In the past month, I have been contacted by people all over the world who are interested in the water as a business. In fact, at last count, people from 85 different countries are following this blog. That means the word is getting out there.

Many of the inquiries are about specific issues or questions as would be expected. What comes as a surprise is that I have been contacted by many people in recent weeks from far and near who want to get involved in the water ionizer industry. As a result, I’m helping people from Australia (Sydney and Melbourne), Belgium, Canada (New Brunswick, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC), Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia (and the surrounding countries that used to make up the USSR), and the USA (California, Florida, and Minnesota). My help is in the form providing education, answering questions, and letting them know who the good guys are in the industry to deal with, and putting them in touch with the right people. If you want to get involved, contact me and I will be happy to offer whatever assistance that I can.

When I started this blog, the goal was to share some information so that individuals could sort their way through the confusion created by all of the conflicting information about ionized water on the internet. As the blog grows, it seems that more and more people who can help others “the influencers” are getting involved. It is similar to the old story that reminds us that if you feed a man a fish, you have provided one meal, but if you teach a man to fish, he can feed himself for life.

I’m a really impatient person. I want everyone to learn about the water and start drinking it Right Now! Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. Creating awareness in the 99+ % of people who have never heard of water ionizers is going to take time. However, it will happen because the benefits of the water will eventually demand attention. At some point in time, even the owners of the companies that hate me and have been threatening me because I’m demanding accountability will figure out that there will be plenty of money for everyone if we just teach people how to fish. In the meantime, Just Drink the Damn Water!

Thanks For Helping: I’m really grateful for the comments on this blog and the emails that I receive. I will continue to research and write because it is my hobby and passion, but your encouragement helps far more than you can imagine. If you want to help spread the word about the water, please refer this website to people that you care about, or link this site to your website. Thanks for your help!

Like many others, you may have been introduced to the water by a Multi Level Marketing representative. Perhaps you learned about the water from a friend, acquaintance, or family member. Maybe you started researching online because you or a loved one is dealing with a disease that needs attention. It doesn’t matter how you got here, as the important thing is that you got to this point.

Chances are that you have already visited several websites to learn about the water. The good news is that there is a lot of information available. The bad news is that virtually all the information available is being brought to you by someone who is trying to sell you something. There is nothing wrong with people trying to sell you things, as our economy is driven by sales. However, when you are looking for information, it can be really annoying to be constantly hit with sales pitch after sales pitch.

So, who do you believe?

Most people start their research with the review sites. People start with these sites because intuitively, it makes sense to begin with comparisons. The review sites are easily accessible because of the huge marketing budgets supporting the sites. People naturally want to take the shortest path to a solution, and the review sites appear to fit the bill. Unfortunately, the review sites are likely the source of your confusion.

The seemingly “independent” review sites are not independent at all. The sites are carefully scripted marketing tools that direct you in a subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) way towards helping you select a specific product. As a consumer, it is easy to be fooled by these sites into thinking that a certain brand is the best. The confusion starts when you investigate more than one of the review sites, as you are left shaking your head and asking yourself “How can the opinions of the different independent sites be so different”. It would be logical to expect that the “best” machine would win on every review site, but don’t forget that there is nothing independent about the sites at all.

So, it you can’t trust the review sites, where should you turn?

It would seem logical to contact companies that sell various brands, as you would expect them to have knowledge of various products. It would also be reasonable to assume that the companies are not biased towards a specific brand because they can make money selling all of the products they carry. Such companies do exist, but based upon my research, it is more likely that you will be guided by a sales person towards choosing a product that pays the best commissions, or towards a product that the company is trying to clear from its inventory, or trying to meet sales quotas so that they can purchase at lower prices.

Here are 10 Tips to Finding the Right Water Ionizer that I would start with once I have come to the realization that all water ionizers are good for my health, and that there is no such thing as the best water ionizer for all conditions:

1) Decide what factors are most important to you before you begin calling anyone. Are you simply looking for healthy drinking water? If so, you don’t need to buy the expensive models. Do you need your machine to obtain pH values of 11 or more to wash the pesticides off your fruits and vegetables? Do you need your machine to produce really low pH values so that you can use the acidic water as an environmentally friendly disinfectant? Would an under-counter unit best suit your needs? And last but definitely not least, how important is cost?

2) Seek out someone that has experience with testing and using various brands.

3) Search for a person that asks you about your needs rather than telling you about all of the features of the machines they sell. Anybody can read a promotional card from the company that makes a product.

4) Work with someone who is willing to listen, because it is really hard to listen when you are talking all the time.

5) Find a representative that answers your questions directly, or offers to find out the answer, rather than someone who deflects to another topic or is evasive because they don’t know the answer.

6) Find out about your local source water conditions before calling anyone. Otherwise, try to find someone that is familiar with your local source water conditions, or is willing to help you find out about your water

7) Make sure you deal with someone who is knowledgeable about proper filtration. Water ionizers typically don’t provide sufficient filtration for all the chemicals that we find in our water. Your goal should be to obtain the best possible drinking water, and the first step is to optimize the quality of the water entering your water ionizer.

8) Deal with a reputable company that sells reputable brands. Warranty and return policies are not important until you need them.

9) You will be using your machine for many years, so it is important to deal with someone that you trust and feel comfortable working with. While obtaining the best price is important, a good relationship will provide better value over the long term.

10) Once you have determined the right brand for your needs, shop around for the best deal. The industry is relatively new to North America, and that means that most of the brands are over-priced. Don’t be afraid to negotiate.

If you are frustrated by the entire process, you are not alone. I would be happy to answer your questions if you email me and leave me a telephone number where I can contact you. I have a telephone plan that offers free calling in the USA and Canada. I won’t attempt to sell you a water ionizer because I’m not in the business, so all I can offer is free advice. If you start drinking ionized water and share your story with others, that will be my reward.

I don’t provide written recommendations by email, because I don’t want people posting my advice in order to create a business opportunity. Let them do their own research!

As always, the opinions expressed in this article are those of the author. It is advisable to consult your health care provider with any health related issues.

Slowly but surely, people are discovering the benefits of drinking alkaline ionized water. Most of us take our health for granted until something goes wrong, so most inquiries about the water come from people who are trying to “fix” something. I suspect it will remain that way for years to come, but my hope is that eventually people will learn to take care of their health before they have problems. Proper maintenance is always a superior solution to repair.

If you are investigating water ionizers on the internet, there is a good chance you are getting confused. The confusion is understandable. While every website tells you that the machines are great, they also try to influence your buying decision by focusing on the attributes of their particular machine.

Here is a list of things I think you should know about water ionizers before you consider buying a machine:

1) All water ionizers work. They use a simple process called electrolysis to separate tap or bottled water into two separate streams of water. One stream is rich in OH- (hydroxyl ions) which is for drinking, and the other is rich in H+ (Hydrogen ions) which is for external use on the skin or for disinfecting germs in its strongest form

2) There is no such thing as the “best” water ionizer. Different machines perform differently in different water conditions. Before buying, you should focus on your source water conditions, what you want to use the water for (as they do more than simply improve your health), and your budget

3) The high priced Multi Level Marketing machines are not superior, and in many cases are inferior to many lower priced brands

4) Your source water conditions, the speed of the flow of the water through the machine, and the amount of power run through the machine are the primary factors affecting the performance of the machine. Don’t be mislead by the “bells and whistles” offered by various brands attempting to entice you.

5) Water ionizers are designed to ionize water. They are not designed to work as filtration systems other than for removing chlorine. While the filters of some brands offer somewhat better filtration, it is important to learn what is in your water supply and install a pre-filtration system. It makes no sense to spend thousands of dollars on a water ionizer and not spend a couple of hundred dollars to remove harmful contaminants from your water.

6) The “independent” review sites are not independent at all. They are sophisticated marketing tools designed to lead you towards purchasing a specific brand of water ionizer.

7) According to the engineers that I met in Korea, no machine for residential use needs to have more than 300 Watts of power. In fact, adding more power is likely detrimental as it will act to corrode the platinum coating on the titanium plates. More is not better.

8) The engineers confirmed our findings that 7 plates provide up to 20% better results than 5 plates, but only under hard source water conditions. In soft and medium water, there is very little difference. However, 9 plates offer absolutely nothing more in terms of performance over 7 plate machines and can be viewed as a gimmick. More is not better.

9) In regards to pH levels, there is somewhat of a consensus among the scientists and engineers that I have spoken to. It is recommended to start drinking alkaline water for about a week at a level of 8.0 to 8.5 so your body can detoxify slowly. Starting with water that has higher pH levels will not harm you, but you are more likely to experience headaches, mild flu-like symptoms, and possibly diarrhea. Once your body has adjusted to detoxifying, most healthy adults should drink water in a pH range of 9.0 to 10.0

10) The opinions among the scientists in regards to the effectiveness and level of ORP for drinking water are much more divergent. Some medical doctors and scientists who have never tested the water believe that the acidic level of the stomach immediately neutralizes the negative ORP values, thereby rendering the effect of the ORP as worthless. Others scientists claim that the antioxidant values of the negatively charged ions are life changing and can lead to sustainable good health.

Ionized water, alcohol, and sugar, are the only known substances that pass immediately through the stomach. You can prove this to yourself with a simple test. Drink 3 sixteen ounce glasses of tap or bottled water within a five minute period. You will feel bloated for hours. However, it you drink 3 sixteen ounce glasses of ionized water in the same five minute period, you won’t feel bloated at all. Based upon this test and the fact that ionized water helped me get rid of severe arthritis and acid reflux while several forms of pharmaceutical drugs failed, my vote goes to the beneficial effects of negatively charged water.

The scientists that do believe in the beneficial antioxidant properties of negatively charged water have varying opinions in regards to what level of negative ORP should be consumed. The scientists from Japan and Korea who have been around working on the water for 25 years seem to be of the opinion that you should drink water with a negative ORP level of -10 to -15. Others claim that you should drink water that has a negative ORP of -180 to -200, as that is the value of the juice of a live orange on a tree. There does seem to be some consensus that drinking water should not have an ORP of greater than -400. However, Dr. Robert Young has indicated that he has had success with using -800 ORP for cancer patients, but that of course is a more extreme measure.

I can’t stand the way the water i0nizer review websites claim to be independent when they are not independent at all. I like the fact that they create awareness with their expensive advertising campaigns, but the fact they don’t disclose their financial interest is deceiving. The review sites are financed 100% by companies and are carefully constructed to lead the reader to choose a specific product.

Today, I’m reviewing the site http://www.waterionizerreviews.org/. The site is a completely biased promotional site for a specific brand of water ionizers. It is easy to pick your way through the site and see how it directs people to purchase their specific product.

It boggles my mind how the public gets fooled by these so called “independent” review sites. The only answer that I can come up with is that people are busy and are looking for quick answers. Consequently, they click on one or two of the so called “independent” review sites and watch a video. Those that stop at the first site have their decision made for them by the clever manipulation of the review site. Those that check out more than one review site get confused, but they still “know” that the decision comes down to a couple of brands because the same brands are reviewed on each site. A quick phone call to a salesperson from the chosen brand will confirm you made the ”right” choice. If people did a little more homework, their efforts would be worth the extra effort.

Let’s take a look at some of the recommendations of the waterionizerreviews.org site to see what I’m talking about:

Tyent Turbo: While the site offers a five star recommendation, it also offers: “It would have been nice to see Tyent offer added filtration like LIFE Ionizers” and “ Another concern about Tyent is that they have only been around since 2007 making them a relatively newer company in the ionizer market”. How can the review website provide a five star recommendation for this product and then say it would be better if they could make the machine as good as a competitor’s machine. The people behind the site are sophisticated enough to create another five star rating so they don’t appear biased on the surface, but then they proceed to tear down the competitor with the high rating. Nice!

Enagic SD501: While the site says the machine does work, it claims the machine has an old style power supply system, only 1 filter, it is ridiculously overpriced because of the Multi Level Marketing “MLM” system (I will have to give them that one), it requires external enhancers (bleach) to achieve its best performance and various other criticisms. I was left with the distinct impression that only an idiot would purchase an Enagic SD501. This is a machine that has been around for 14 years and has sold hundreds of thousands of units worldwide, and has been responsible for the awareness the industry now enjoys. No bias at all on this one!

Jupiter Athena: The site points out the following deficiencies of the unit: the low number of plates, the old style power supply system, the overall lack of power, the poor performance, and the high price resulting from a MLM marketing system. The site leaves you asking yourself “Why would anyone with half a brain buy a Jupiter?” Perhaps we should ask the customers of the best selling water ionizers in history why they are so stupid. The stronger the competitive company, the lower the rating. Interesting system of keeping score!

KYK Genesis: The site criticises that fact KYK doesn’t have UL approval (which is untrue), it criticises the warranty at only five years (which is plenty for an electrical appliance), the plates, the size of the company etc etc etc. Oh, it also says the machine produces mediocre pH and ORP output (which is not true based upon my testing and the testing of many others). If you relied upon the information in this so called “independent” website, how could you not think this machine is a joke!

Life Ionizer 7600: The site claims the machine was the most technically advanced and efficient machine that they tested. The site also stated “you are getting a lot for your money with the Life 7600″. The research that I have done done certainly doesn’t back up the claims from the website. Is the information “independent”, or a pure sales tool? To make the review of the machine appear to be less biased, the site offers the following criticisms of the machine: slower water flow due to 2 filters (obviously meant to point out a selling feature of the machine), the additional cost of the under-counter upgrade (but it is the only unit reviewed that offered people the option), limited colours (oh my goodness), and the fact the machine needs an enhancer to obtain outstanding pH output below 3.0, which implies that the machine will create acidic water with a pH as low as 3 and even lower with then enhancer. Wow…what an incredible machine…I better call them up and order one right away while quantities last!

I will leave it up to your imagination to figure out the relationship between the ownership of www.waterionizersreviewed.org and the company that receives the overwhelming endorsement, or you can do your homework online.

All I can say about this site is that it makes me want to vomit. My choice of words might be a little strong for some, but they are honest. Don’t the people that create these sites realize that their behaviour forces the competition to respond in kind, with the net effect of creating confusion and leaving the public wondering if any of the machines are any good?

As always, the opinions expressed in this article are solely the opinions of the author. Please do your homework before spending thousands of dollars.

All of the review sites use the Enagic SD501 as their whipping boy in an effort to make their product look like the obvious machine of choice. While they admit that the SD501 is a good machine, which it is, they all point out that the Enagic machine is double the price of their machines because of their Multi Level Marketing payout structure, which is true. The various companies attack Enagic in an attempt to steal market share from Enagic, which is an organization that has been almost solely responsible for building awareness of the incredible benefits of ionized water. It would be nice if the other companies focused on building awareness of the water instead of trying to steal from the efforts of others.

Just when you think you have heard enough, it gets worse. While all the companies that operate the review sites appear to be at war with each other, you will soon discover they all seem to work together in that they only compare their products with the products of the other review sites. As a result, anyone that spends time on the internet searching for water ionizers comes away with the clear impression that there are basically only three companies to choose from (unless you are willing to pay double the money for an Enagic machine so that you can sell the overpriced units to family and friends). The truth of the matter is that there are hundreds of different brands available in the world to choose from, of which several have built solid track records that make them worthy contenders. The problem is that the public never gets to know the names of the other good companies, because they haven’t built a sophisticated marketing system in North America yet, and they are not part of the “club”.

Now comes the interesting new twist from ”ionizersreviewed.com” The site features a “best of the best” catagory that predictably features the same product that it has featured for years. However, the new “best value” catagory features a differnt brand altogether, which is a refreshing development. The site has declared the IonQuench 8080, which is made by the highly respected EOS manufacturing company in Korea, as a fantastic machine that represents the best value in the industry. EOS has been producing great machines for years for a company called KYK. Unfortunately, KYK has never been able to break into the ”club”, so it carved its niche in the industry by selling its products for significantly less money than the leading players in the industry. The fact that the IonQuench 8080 is virtually identical to the KYK Genesis 30000 other than a different face plate is not important. What is important is that a well respected manufacturer and one of its excellent machines is now getting recognized after fighting a long uphill battle for years.

I don’t know who is responsible for changing the philosophy at ionizersreviewed, but it is a very positive development. The website appears to finally be moving towards actually being independent, which is good news for consumers. We all benefit from learning about another quality company. Hopefully, the price of the unit will not increase with its new found recognition. Introductory sale prices never last long, but even the advertised retail price is a move in the rigth direction towards lower prices. Good work ionizersreviewed.com

During his State of the Union address in January 1971, Richard Nixon declared war on cancer. Here is what he said:

“The time has come in America when the same kind of concentrated effort that split the atom and took man to the moon should be turned toward conquering this dreaded disease. Let us make a total national commitment to achieve this goal.”

President Nixon followed through on his promise and signed the National Cancer Act on December 23, 1971. What started out as a noble cause has obviously lost its focus over the years.

In 1971, the medical community didn’t have a cure for cancer. They had three strategies for dealing with cancer, which included “slashing, burning, and poisoning”. You will never hear a doctor refer to surgery as slashing, or radiation as burning, or chemotherapy as poisoning, but that is exactly what each of the medical terms means in layman’s terms.

In 2009, after 38 years of research by the best scientific minds in the world, that have been funded by hundreds of billions of dollars, doctors still slash and burn and poison… oh excuse me… perform surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.

I don’t want to take the negative approach and talk about money and conspiracies. We all know about that stuff. What is obvious is that governments, and the medical community, and the pharmaceutical industry are not going to provide the answers. What I do want to talk about is what we can do about cancer.

In Canada and the United States, it is illegal to practice medicine without a license. The powers that control the industry have made it virtually impossible for our physicians to recommend any product if it hasn’t been approved by the FDA or Health Canada. The College of Physicians has the right, and exercises its right, to sanction physicians for any behavior that exceeds its guidelines. As a result, our physicians, who are in a position to listen to their patients and be part of the solution, have to remain detached.

Many doctors are aware of the ability of alkaline ionized water to eliminate acid from the body, which in turn allows that body to heal itself. These doctors have all seen the results first hand. Yet, they won’t recommend the water, and they won’t write review papers. You can’t blame the doctors. They are not willing to risk their livelihood. They have worked hard to become physicians and they need to protect their careers and their families, just like anyone else.

Doctors are not allowed to help us, as the system is not going to change. It’s not right, but it is reality. So, what else can we do?

The water ionizer companies deal with clients everyday that have cancer. They know that their machines are saving lives of cancer patients that have previously been told by physicians that they have terminal cancer. Unfortunately, the companies are not allowed to post testimonials because they can be charged with practicing medicine without a license. In fact, the water ionizer manufacturers and importers choose to continue to run under the radar. Why would they choose this path? They lay low because the industry is profitable, and they don’t want to upset the pharmaceutical companies. Why do they fear the pharmaceutical companies? The pharmaceutical companies have astonishing wealth and connections, and can crush the water ionizer manufacturers if they are seen as a threat. How do I know this? I talk to them. So, don’t look to the water ionizer manufacturers to spread the word.

We are beginning to see Dealers that represent products of the various water ionizer companies post testimonials on their sites. The Dealers recognize the value of the testimonials in regards to adding credibility to their sales strategy. However, the Dealers are unaware of the consequences of their actions, and will likely be forced to remove the testimonials as awareness of the units become more widespread.

It seems to me that it will be up to individuals who have experienced the water themselves to spread the word. While the medical system is strictly governed, the good news is that freedom of speech still exists. However, freedom of speech must be accomplished without being attached to business interests. This blog offers me the opportunity to do my part. I invite you to join me in helping spread the word. If you have experienced the benefits of alkaline water, please share your stories with us, so that others can learn from you.

I wish I had more time to dedicate to this blog, because it continues to be a never-ending source of amazement for me. Just when you think the world has gone crazy and nobody cares, along comes another example of human kindness.

I had a call a couple of weeks ago from a woman that desperately wanted a water ionizer to help combat her husband’s lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer that starts in the lymphocytes of the immune system. Lymphoma is categorized as either Hodgkin’s lymphoma, or non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). The outlook for cancer patients who have lymphoma can vary greatly as there are many different varieties of NHL. A significant factor in dealing successfully with lymphoma, as with most forms of cancer, is early detection.

The husband in this story is very sick and unable to work. She stays at home looking after her two small children. Despite the fact that they wanted a water ionizer badly, they simply didn’t have the funds to purchase a unit. A good friend that owned a water ionizer had been supplying them with ionized water. Unfortunately, the friend lived in another city and could only make it by the house once a week. For those that don’t know, ionized water is most effective when it is fresh out of the tap. In fact, the negative ORP (oxidation reduction potential) begins regressing immediately, and in fact, loses about 80% of its impact within 24 hours. The lady in this story made the call to me when she discovered that the ORP deteriorated rapidly over time, as she realized that there was something more that she could be doing to help her family.

Her husband didn’t want her to call, as he is a proud man and didn’t want to ask for help. Fortunately for the family, the lady swallowed her pride and reached out. When she called, she apologized for asking for help, but I quickly suggested that I would do exactly the same thing if I were in her situation, as would anyone else who wants to protect their family.

She was hoping that I could lead her to someone that could provide her with a free unit in an effort to help her husband recover from the chemo. I informed her that I didn’t know anyone that offered such a service, but that I would call around. She was polite, but it was obvious that she was very disappointed.

How the heck do you find a free water ionizer for someone? I called some companies and they expressed sympathy, but indicated that they couldn’t just start giving away units, or they would be inundated with requests. So, it the companies won’t help, who would? I thought that perhaps I could find an individual or a group that might help.

I decided to make a list of people that I knew, who might be in a position to consider such a generous gift for a complete stranger. Then I thought of who I had been in contact with that had experienced life changing effects from the water. One obvious name popped up so I though why not try and call. I have to admit that it felt strange to be calling someone and asking for such a big favour, even if it wasn’t for me. Five minutes later, the unit was paid for anonymously, and the unit was on its way within the hour.

I called the lady that evening to let her know that a unit was on the way. She said that she didn’t understand how this could happen, as nobody helps a stranger with such a generous gift. When I explained that there are extraordinary people in the world, and that this was just another example, she started to cry. And cry. And cry. Between sobs, she said that there are no words for gratitude that she felt towards her benefactor. She asked me for her “angel’s” name. I told her that the person demanded anonymity. She said that wasn’t fair, as she had to say thank you. I told her I would pass on a message if she wanted, and I would ask the benefactor if would be ok to forward the message. The next day, I received an incredible message from her that expressed her gratitude to the stranger, and that the gift had already started working because it had given her family hope.

I was so moved by the message that I sent a copy of the message to the benefactor despite being informed previously that there was to be no contact. I didn’t want to call first, as I thought there was a good chance that the benefactor wouldn’t let me send the message. The next day, I received an email from the benefactor, and I braced myself for an electronic tongue lashing. However, the message from the lady was so powerful that the benefactor actually replied to the person anonymously. This is where a great story gets even better. The benefactor sent me a message, to pass on anonymously to the lady, thanking her for the gift of being able to help.

The way I keep score, there ended up being three gifts. The first gift is the actual material gift of a water ionizer. The second gift is the gift of hope to the family. The third gift is the incredible gift of giving. I don’t know about you, but this one really touched my heart.

It strikes me as ironic that the great stories that I have the privilege to write about come at the expense of others who have suffered through various forms of illness. While this blog is dedicated to educating others about the incredible benefits of drinking water, it is the stories of those who have faced and overcome difficult or even life threatening diseases that provide the real hope to others.

Not everyone wants to share their stories for privacy reasons, which is perfectly understandable. Those that do share their stories have my deepest respect and gratitude, because they can educate and inspire others.

This is a real life love story of a woman that refused to let her husband’s prostate cancer destroy their lives. The couple had all the medical help you could possibly imagine, as you will see, but the medical community was simply not getting the job done. The wife refused to accept the medical prognosis. She researched and found alkaline ionized water, and made her skeptical husband drink the water faithfully every day. The husband beat prostate cancer, but the victory definitely belongs to them as a couple.

Prostate cancer is detected by a blood test which measures the level of PSA (prostate-specific antigen). PSA is a protein produced by the prostate, which is released into the bloodstream. When prostate cancer develops and grows, increased levels of PSA are released into the bloodstream. PSA levels under 5ng/ml are considered “normal”, between 5 and 10 are considered “intermediate”, and over 10 are considered “high”.

The husband’s PSA count remained at 45 in February 2009 despite the best efforts over an extended period of time by four of the leading oncologists in the world. The couple spared no effort or expense in their attempt to get rid of the cancer, including visits to meet and work with the leading physicians at both Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, and John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. When the primary oncologist on the case said that they would begin chemotherapy if the next round of tests didn’t improve, the wife took over. She researched many alternatives on the internet and decided that alkaline ionized water was the best course of action. Her research indicated that the water couldn’t hurt, and that there were many reports of the water helping with cancer.

The wife ordered a water ionizer and made her husband drink the water every day, despite being skeptical. When he returned for his next PSA test, the level had dropped to 18. The husband was so “stunned” by the results that he had an independent test done shortly afterwards. When the results came back from the independent test, the level had dropped to 13. The family was ecstatic of course. When the husband returned for his next test at the hospital, the PSA level had dropped to 5. The oncologist informed him that he was no longer considered a cancer patient, as his PSA level was considered “normal”.

The four oncologists involved with the case from the various hospitals all marveled at the “miracle”. The husband informed each of them that it was not a miracle at all. When asked to explain by the doctors what he meant, he told all of them that the only thing that he had changed in his life, was drinking the ionized water that his wife made him drink each day.

The husband asked each specialist to write a review of the case, but none of them would comply. Western medicine continues to ignore the growing number of cases where people have used alkaline ionized water to reduce the acid level in their bodies, so that the body can heal itself. The good news is that the husband no longer has cancer, and every case builds awareness of how water can play a key role in helping achieve and maintain good health.

My personal thanks go to the couple involved for sharing their story with us.
