I have covered the portable question a couple of times already on this blog but here we go again. I have tested a couple of portables. I think they serve a useful purpose when used to freshen up a container of ionized water. They can also be used as a temporary solution during a vacation or whenever ionized water in not available. They filter chlorine out of the water and they add minerals, so they are a good thing. However, they are not water ionizers, so don't think that they are an inexpensive alternative to a water ionizer. Hi Lauren:
